Joule Yacht Transport, Inc. was founded in 1954 when Dick Joule (pronounced “joel”) needed to get his boat from the water to his New York home. In developing a safe boat trucking system, he created the basis of today’s marine transport standards.

In over 65 years, the company has grown to over 100 employees providing overland yacht hauling service to US and Canada. Headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, JYT also has offices in: Loudon, Tennessee and Englishtown, New Jersey along with a Terminal in Edgewater, FL. Hauling recreational, racing, commercial and military vessels of all types has given Joule Yacht Transport the reputation for being innovative and accommodating.
